so i want to do all that young teenage romance stuff like kissing and cuddling and stuff with her and i like her so much. but i also want to be single and spend more time with my friends before we all leave the school. im just afraid that im gonna let her down if i reject her (we agreed to a first date) and im also afraid of messing it up like i did with my last relationship.

so obviously im gonna wait until the first date (this wednesday!) to make up my mind but im really stressed about what i should do. how do i want to kiss someone so much but also want to be single so badly?

Okay, so you're acting like you can't spend time alone or with friends if you're dating someone. That's not the case at all! You just gotta set boundaries and put aside time for everything. If you really like this person and want to date them, but are worried about lack of independence, communicate that, and you'll still be able to see your friends.
