The 14th amendment is a test for office - no one is denying Trump his rights, he disqualified himself by attacking the Capitol in an unconstitutional attempt to stay in power.

Actually he didn't do that because he was never tried in a court of law to determine that. See the part of the Constitution you're clinging to (because you're afraid of a mango)... It states he had to engage in insurrection. How does one gauge whether someone has engaged in insurrection? By the Criminal History they have after being tried for Insurrection in a court of law.

Has Trump been tried in a Court of Law for insurrection? No, no he has not been. Nice try though.

He doesn't need to be criminally tried - the courts looked at the record of his actions and the events they led to and ruled they were disqualifying.

Same as they would do if there were accusations he wasn't old enough or a natural born citizen.

Against his constitutional rights.

No, you see, he committed insurrection against our Constitution in order to prevent a peaceful transfer of power - he no longer has that right.

Please show me where he's ever been charged with that.

Show me where the 14th amendment requires charges or conviction of a crime.

Thr part that says "engaged in insurrection" - you would have to prove he did that in a court of law for it to apply. Duuhhhhhhh

The problem with that second grade attempt at legal scholarship is those the 14th amendment originally disqualified from holding office were never tried for their insurrection.

Maybe you can provide some legal precedent instead of just throwing shit at the walls to see what sticks?

Trump is in the Find Out stage when he decided to F**k Around with Insurrection.

Speaking of the Constitution.

Amendment 14

Section 3

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Please point out his Criminal History where he was tried for engaging in Insurrection and where he was found guilty of just that. If you can't - your argument holds no water here.

It doesn't matter how many times you post this - it doesn't make it true.
