It is a stupid policy.
The policy should be that they are immediately deported.
However, the current administration and its disciples have made that impossible, making grand statements that they are sanctuary cities that fully embrace immigrants.
They are getting the opportunity to do so by a less than ideal policy.
They sold an ideology to buy votes now it is time for them to pay their bill.
