Lotta 4WD's, must assume they have 8 wheel brakes by me.

Then they use those breaks to skid into a 360 , and fly off the road into a flip, because they know how to drive in the snow.

I'm always tellin slickers that "4wd helps you go, it don't help you stop."

From what I’ve seen, even people that “think” they can drive on snow, can’t.

It still baffles me how many cars flip on their roofs during snow storms. The highway safety council recommends a speed of 30 on snow packed roads. Sure tire tread and rear wheel drive all factor in the speed someone can travel on ice in snow. But I just don't get how it's the slow driver following the safety council recommendation causing accidents for the people passing at 45 -60 mph on ice and snow packed roads. Just baffles me when safe drivers are put in jeopardy by the ones who think they are invincible in a car.

When they think their car is smart enough to drive in the ice and snow..... Lol as to why they need to be reminded not to use cruise control by the police department I have no idea... It needs to be in the driver's test, driving in winter conditions.... Sure drive accordingly to the weather just doesn't do it for people who drive like they have infinite number of lives in some video game.

Snow prone states should close their borders to those from subtropical climates in winter.

Driving in sand is not the same as snow.
