The War Crimes of siege warfare and collective punishment, indiscriminate attacks upon civilians and civilian infrastructure, use of prohibited chemical munitions (White Phosphorus) against a civilian population, are just the latest examples.

There is an internationally recognized RIGHT TO ARMED RESISTANCE, against a settler-colonial occupation. There is no corresponding right to indiscriminate slaughter and ethnic cleansing.

Currently, there are THOUSANDS of Palestinians being held without charges or trials, for years at a time, under the Zionists' "Administrative Detention". Prisoners of War are treated better, and have more rights. By contrast, hostages taken by Hamas acknowledge that they were treated well, provided as much food and medicine as could be arranged - and were living in better conditions than most Gazans.

The Grand Mufti was not an elected representative of the Palestinian people, - at least 1/3 of whom are Christians - but rather, a religious figure, not even relevant to all Palestinian muslims. By the 1930's there had been decades of Zionist Terrorism against the Palestinians, in their own land. Terrorist groups like the Hagganah, Irgun and Stern Gang were oppressing the Palestinian, with official indifference by the British Colonial power. And like the resistance to colonial occupation in India - the Palestinians engaged in some diplomatic relations with the Third Reich. However neither had a COIN MINTED to commemorate the occasion.
