Akira, Kenta, Jiro, and the babysitter were over at Kenji’s home as they were eating dinner. Yuki was making more Inkversian rice, and Kenji was talking with his crew.
“Are you two wife and husband because of Haru?” Akira said
“Married?” Yuki said “no we aren’t”
“I picked her and Haru up and have been caring for them” Kenji said
“That makes sense” Akira said as he kept eating his Cosmic chicken wings.
Soon Akira, Kenta, Jiro, and the babysitter all had went home and Haru was asleep with Kenji and Yuki falling asleep shortly after.
Meanwhile, the Inkversian government had requested some help from the Stickversian empire for their recovery efforts but the Stickmen had declined as they were still recovering from the devastating destruction from the Vortex bomb.
The next day, Kenji had woken up from his sleep and he sees that Yuki is gone to go to work. Kenji notices that Haru is with the aunt and he is getting ready for his work day when suddenly his TV turned on with the emergency broadcast blaring out loud.
“warning: Baddgur district in Heavenly Bay is under attack by a strange, Limitless-like monster” the emergency news blares.
Meanwhile, Yuki is on the Baddgur district hover train that is heading to the Bingg district when suddenly the hover train stops.
“What is going on?” Yuki said confused
Yuki looked outside the window to see tons of people running as a giant, 40 meter (131 feet) tall monster with big spacial fins.
“Is that… the Devourer?” Yuki said in fear
(The Unlimited Devourer)
The Unlimited Devourer kept approaching the hover train when it looked at the train and roared at it. The passengers of the train panicked and all tried to escape; forming a huge cluster of people.
Yuki tries to get out of the train too but the middle part of the train is bit by the Unlimited Devourer. The left and right sides of the hover train start to hang from the train and Yuki fell but suddenly caught a handle bar on the train. Yuki desperately held the handle bar and the Unlimited Devourer went back to destroying the area in the Baddgur district. Yuki screams in fear but then she sees that the train part she’s in is hanging over a lake. Yuki lets go of the handle bar and she falls into the river which was deeper than she thought.
Yuki quickly swims out of the lake and quickly gets back on the streets of the Baddgur district, she watched as people ran and their homes be destroyed effortlessly by the Unlimited Devourer. She didn’t move and the Unlimited Devourer got closer and closer to killing Yuki.
“Is this… the punishment from the lord for the imperial Inkverse acts” Yuki said
Suddenly Kenji “tackles” Yuki and they start to run away from the Unlimited Devourer when suddenly the Unlimited Devourer is hit by Inkversian Abrams and Inkversian Apaches. The Unlimited Devourer looks at the Inkversian artillery and its spacial fins started to glow a galactic purple.
“What is that glow!?!” Kenji said
“I don’t know” Yuki said
The Devourer opened its mouth, a galactic purple glow came out of its mouth like a flashlight, and suddenly the Unlimited Devourer shot a beam of Unlimited Power at the Abrams and Apaches. The beam melted through the buildings and destroyed the military assets easily. Suddenly an explosion nearing the size a vortex bomb exploded and the shockwave quickly spreaded through the district leveling buildings. Yuki pushed Kenji into the building they were next to and Kenji had saw Yuki flying backwards and forwards through the shockwave. Soon the shockwave had calmed down and Kenji walked out of the building.
“Yuki!?!” Kenji searched and searched
Kenji couldn’t find Yuki and he then looked toward the Unlimited Devourer. The Unlimited Devourer roared in victory while Kenji had screamed and screamed in torment and misery.
“YUKI!!!!!” Kenji screamed in torment
The Spacial fins of the Unlimited Devourer began to glow again and the Unlimited soon left the planet.
That very night; Kenji, his work crew, and the babysitter holding Haru were all at Kenji’s house again. Kenji had stayed quiet for several hours and hadn’t even touched his food.
“Kenji… are you okay?” Akira said in concern
Kenji didn’t say anything back.
“Where’s Mama” Haru suddenly said
“Mama is working overtime” the babysitter said to Haru
Haru would start to cry and Kenji slammed his fist on the table.
“It’s all my fault” Kenji grievingly said “IF I HAD JUST COMMANDED THAT SQUADRON TO DO THEIR JOB THEN NONE IF THIS WOULD’VE HAPPENED!”
“W-what do you mean?” Akira and the Babysitter said
“If I had just gave those soldiers the order to execute those damn stars then this wouldn’t have happened!” Kenji cried
The babysitter stared Kenji directly in his eyes and then walked toward him with Haru in one of her hands.
“You’re a failure to the Inkverse!” The babysitter yelled at Kenji as she pushed Kenji back
Both the babysitter and Kenji walked outside of the home and Kenji said behind the house. Kenji pulled out a concealed Phasular pistol and aims it at his head.
“This wouldn’t have happened if I never existed!” Kenji cried
As Kenji is about to pull the trigger, Akira sets the gun to safety, and stops the bullet from being shot. Kenji looks at Akira and he threw the gun to the ground.
“Killing yourself won’t solve anything” Akira said
“IT WILL!” Kenji cried
“Think of Yuki” Akira said
“SHE’S DEAD BECAUSE OF ME!” Kenji cried “I’m a failure to the Inkverse”
“Well… I know a way to avenge Yuki” Akira said
“How…” Kenji said as he eased on the crying
“I have found a civilian led plan to kill the Unlimited Devourer that is being cooked up, you could avenge Yuki if it succeeds” Akira said
