I'm in the classic auto resto business, I know what salt does to vehicles, especially those in winter climates where they salt the roads in winter, and coastal climates with boats, ever been on docks with full time slips?, wonder why all the garden hoses, you gotta rinse your boats and motors off, so the salt water doesnt eat all your shit up, seals, gaskets, propellars, trim, etc etc. Salt water is not your friend except for the seafood it yields and healing qualities on skin.
