I don't think users should be allowed to resubmit images in the same stream again, as it might add a lot of mod work and would facilitate abuse by submitting over and over. Instead, I propose adding stream mod communication tools.

same stream again....actually, I dunno if you can repost an unfeatured meme to another stream since the one that stupidily got unfeatured today isn't giving me the option to post again........maybe something changed with the site update?

like I said, you can resubmit it if the meme is disapproved from the approval queue when it was submitted. but you cant resubmit it if it was featured but it got unfeatured after.

ohhh, the logic is actually whether the image has any votes or not, because if it does then it's no longer "fresh" so has a potential advantage or disadvantage in a new stream. it can still be unfeatured after being live.

I think that unfeatured memes should "refund" your submission count. But I don't think users should be able to resubmit the image in the same stream. Instead, Imgflip should give users faster and easier communication features so that they can talk to the stream mods about the unfeaturing. In case of mod abuse, the user can contact the global mods so they can talk to the mod abuser. They just need to implement my stream decentralization idea so that global mods don't spend most of their time moderating the fun stream, and instead focus on sitewide moderation to have much faster responses to reports than they currently do.

It's kinda weird. Depending on what reason a mod gives for disapproving your image, sometimes you can resubmit it and sometimes you can't.
