To think that there was a time in 1914 where literal solidiers with their lives on the line in war stopped fighting for Christmas, exchanged greetings, gifts and supplies, played games and even sang carols together.
Today we can't go minutes without some entitled idiot activist behind a screen on either side feeling the need to break any potential truce, sometimes people even pretending to be the enemy in hopes of proving that "need."
If it means anything, I heard that a certain mustached German man opposed the original 1914 truce. Kind of reminds me of people on both sides who just want to keep fighting and slewing propaganda.
