Difficult to see a bond between Texas and California forming. Other than a few big cities in Texas, it has been a conservative state. Lots of 2A people in Texas, far fewer in CA. But many more in most of the other pro 2A states. Not to mention all the states that grow food all over the country and California importing water. Someone has a vivid imagination and not much sense to write that one.
