I'm neutral about the new update.

I think people just don't like it because it's different from what imgflip has been for such a long time

Haters only hate because they want no change. But change is an incredibly important life skill. So man up all you wimps.

Updating for the sake of updating is not good. If the site is good, let it stay good. At some point adding new features/changing old features just starts making it worse. At that point, you still need upkeep. I'm not disagreeing with everything you're saying, I agree the developers have done a good job, however change isn't always good, and if it isn't good, it isn't necessary. The site will never be perfect, nothing we do can change that, but we do the best we can, and that's all we should ask of each other. Thank you developers!

indeed, change isnt always best but its important to keep effort. They shouldnt have changed it however i happy we have devs who still care enough to try to make it better

I kinda think they made the changes to try and push out the older crowd of creators... Like, a lot of the older creators are the Politics folks -- which makes fire political content.... But aren't quite fitting in with the .majority younger crowd.

the views are bad, the ups are doing fine

I used to get 700 ups. Now I get like 300

listen not to be rude but like boo hoo you didnt get a WHOLE FREAKING 700 UPVOTES. Like do you understand how much that is. Honesty the update didnt effect that many people past the top 1% of users. Like I know your opinion is important but you have to agree that its maybe a little biased. Yeah i took a small hit in upvotes (by like 50-60 upvotes and i get 20,000 less views but it doesnt effect more than like 200 users
