There was maybe 1 person who broke the window with an officer's baton. It's the police's fault that the guy was armed. There was maybe 1 person who wielded an extinguisher. Everyone else was just walking around, taking a look.
Disrespect? Yes, but just a scuff on Pelosi's desk or something. If there were guns, then why did nobody shoot? And the majority of "crime" is actually committed with pistols, so...
And actually, "assault rifles" are already illegal for us to own. We can't own select fire unless it's vintage or something. And no, you're not gonna site AR-15s to catch me in a lie. You don't know how those guns work.
The only reason so many people have been held in prison for this long is because the "insurrection" hit too close to home for the government. They don't care when small businesses are slaughtered and shut down, but they will sacrifice everything when we commit the most heartwarming thought crime.
