I’m an old man, but the very worst vehicle that I ever owned was a 1988 Ford F150 that I purchased as a new vehicle. Knobs would fall off in my hand. The speedometer worked like windshield wipers sweeping from 0 to 120 mph and back. It would drop U-Joints. It had dual tanks and needed them because the MPG was only about 10-12, and that was with a six cylinder engine with a manual transmission. Patches of paint the size of dinner plates would peel off. The 4WD would do a great job of getting you to where you wanted to get to out the boonies, but the problem was that it wouldn’t get you out. I once had a 9 mile hike to get to a paved road after it got stuck on a logging road. Other than those few minor faults, it was a great vehicle!
