Feel free to ask questions in the comments and keep an eye out for my next post ^^ | 3- customizing the sketch; before we start, let me just say this is optional. I am choosing to make changes to my source image but you absolutely can leave it as it is. I will link said source image in the comments.
The first thing you need to do is Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V the source image into Kleki. click "As Image."; To start off, the main thing I wanna change is the hair. I am just going in with the eraser and carefully erasing the hair around the hairline, face and ears. To get to the smaller areas, bring your brush size down. I then make a new layer and switch over to the regular old brush tool, not making any changes to it. If you like, you can lower the brush size down from 4 pixels to 1 pixel to have your addition to the sketch blend in a little more, but I chose not to so you could see where I made changes better. If you want, you can go onto the first layer of the initial source image and erase parts of the face that is covered by the hair. If you want smoother lines, to the right of the color picker there is a dropdown menu that says "Stabilizer." click that and pick the number that stabilizes your brush best. if you want less control, pick a lower number. if you want more control, pick a higher number. | image tagged in purple's art series | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

layers tab merge button | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Heyy I'm so sorry I forgot to say, once you have the hair how you want it, click the layers tab, make sure you're on the top layer(layer 2), and click the merge button

After doing that, your 2 layers should become one and that is your sketch. before you merge layers, feel free to make any other changes you plan on making.

Once you finish with that part, go to the "File" tab, and find where it says browser storage. This is a progress saver and will store the current version of the work in the kleki browser so it will be ready next time you get to it. Click the "Store" button to save it to the browser.

However, things can happen so every time you save, save it both as a PNG and a PSD. To do this, find the "Save" button. Click it to save your png. Then find the dropdown menu next to that button. click it and switch the format to "PSD" and then save. The PSD will help prevent your work loss. When you upload a PSD file, all your work is uploaded with your layers intact and ready.
