The President should appoint a bi-Partisan commission of politicians and stakeholders to recommend a way forward, 60-years after the end of legal segregation. Laws on the books today that punish members of one group for transgressions against others in the very distant past, need to be replaced by policies and practices that assure fairness to our diverse population. This isn't a Liberal versus Conservative issue. It is a human rights issue that spans the whole spectrum of our population.
