It's meant to polarize and create heated argument so you continue to not see the fact that the president of the USA does not wield the power to change your lives, the house of representatives and the senate do.

And all congress does is slowly chip away at your liberty, give your money to foreign nations, enrich themselves, and jockey to remain in office forever.

It doesn't matter to them who the president is.

For example; there is a means for congress to remove the president from office. There is no means for the president to remove a congressman from office.

The president can veto any congressional legislation. Congress can override the president's veto. This is taken advantage of because a president can issue a veto for political clout while knowing full well his veto will be overturned.

Not conspiracy theories...real, every day, stuff there.

Don't get me started of the congressional hearings "Springer" show episodes.

To say the president can’t affect your life is a terrible mistake. Just look at what Biden has done:

- he immediately revoked all of trump’s executive orders, sending the economy into a tailspin.
- he blocked oil exploration and started squeezing the oil industry, causing inflation and gas to skyrocket.
- he continues to flood the country with illegal immigrants causing crime to rise and wages to fall. 25,000 from China. Hundreds from Afghanistan and Iran. I’m sure they are all just looking for freedom….
- he’s trying to force gas vehicles off the road. Soon you won’t be able to buy a car for under $50,000. What will you do when heating your home is more expensive than feeding yourself?
- Russia would never have invaded ukraine if trump had been elected.
- The FBI now spends more time jailing political opponents than fighting criminals.

All of this was done through the federal bureaucracy. No support needed from Congress.

Congress could have stopped much of what you describe same as they sued and nulled señor Trump's executive orders.

Congress passes the bills, and sometimes the buck.

Congress can render a very effective President ineffective. Again, señor Trump for example.

Not saying the president doesn't need to be talented, saying the congress who sit in the houses for 30, 40, 50 years are getting over while you watch the spectacle.

Who is more powerful - the lifelong senator or the 8 years max president?
