Where I live, we get some pretty extreme temperatures. I've seen days when the temp never gets above 50 below zero, and I've seen days where the temps are 100 degrees above zero. In the Spring and the Fall, we get very cold nights, and also days that are above freezing all within a 24 hour period.
Consequently, water will seep under roads during the daytime thaws, and will freeze and expand during the night. The result is that the roads get all broken up. We end up with not only pot holes, we also have frost heaves where the expansion of the ice underneath the roads simply lifts it in spots that are several inches above the normal road grade.
I've gotten bent wheels. I've gotten broken coils, and broken shocks. And I once jumped a spline in the steering box so that the alignment could not be fixed by normal adjustments.
We need full service shops that will not only fix what got broken on your car, but can return your spine to alignment, your teeth to alignment, and perhaps re-tension bra straps as necessary.
