I always just build a wooden box, and maybe add rainbow bricks if I get my hands on some.

You could do what I did and just make the whole house out of it, miner’s made out of Martian Conduit Plating and Blue + Gold Starry Wall, or dedicated rooms for it, but either way your house still looks good
