Going to disagree some - of course a prosecutor is supposed to be biased against the accused while the defense attorney is to champion the accused. It's the judge who is supposed to keep both sides in check according to the rules and laws.
Where I agree with you plenty - The judges ain't doing their frickin' jobs and in a more normal time in this country would've been dragged before a judicial ethics committee to the point of possibly being kicked off the bench!
