Two replies = Too funny!!
Biden took flack from Americans who lost loved ones in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks by observing the 22nd anniversary in Alaska instead of at one of the tragic sites.
That would have been bad enough, but the president made it worse by falsely saying he’d been to Ground Zero on 9/12.
“Ground Zero in New York — I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. And I felt like I was looking through the gates of hell,” Biden told US troops in Anchorage.
However, Biden’s own memoir placed him in Washington, DC the day after 2,977 people were murdered by 19 Al Qaeda terrorists.
The White House, not for the first time, stepped in to do clean-up, claiming Biden was actually referencing a visit he made with a delegation of senators nine days after the attacks.
