Systematically Dumbing You Down

So allowing folks to choose their own schools is a bad thing?

Parents would go straight for the schools with the best stats, giving these schools additional funding due to increased attendance. All the shitty public schools would either be forced to step up their game and play ball, or be shut down.

Private schools would pop up to fill in any gaps, thanks to capitalism, and the general population would be more able to afford them.

Or…. Keep giving shitty schools no incentive to improve. Yeah, let’s do that.

Parents can certainly choose whatever school they want to send their kid to. they need to pay for that out of their pocket, not mine.

Private schools are not held to the same standards of a public school.

Private schools not held to the same level of scrutiny and transparency as a public school.

And what about that cost?

Do you think that it will be kept low?

Honestly, do you really think that? Once public schools are gone, do you geniuinely believe that the tuition at a private school will stay low?

Or do you think they'll do what they've done to the university system? Where you'll be signing your kid up for student loans? Student loans just to go to kindergarten.

But it's okay, thought, right, because such a great opportunity.

I mean, sure, they're under crushing student loan debt from the moment they graduate high school.

But. capitalism.
