I began howling about the rising national debt back when G.W. Bush was still president. Conservatives agreed with me and hated it when a putative conservative president kept letting Congress play games with the economy without any push back. DO any of us recall ANY conservative president saying that we HAD to cease endless borrowing and spending and that he was going to use his quasi-legal executive orders powers to make this happen? No, me neither.
But it's the leftists that went utterly insane with this stuff; and I honestly believe that it's because they WANT to financially break the United States to push it out of its world leadership and super power status.
