Oh aye; the most that will happen is that the Dean will inform this particular group of self-screwed law students that they need to learn WHEN to open their mouths and when it is career suicide to sign a petition advocating a position that sane and civilized people traditionally find to be repugnant.
He or she will then pull strings to get them into not quite so great post graduate practices and then warn the next class of bright and up and coming leftist nation-haters, bigots, and terrorist loving idiots to LEARN from the examples set by their self-screwed law seniors.
Consequences are NOT just for low class peasants . . . a lesson to be learned and kept firmly in mind even by the scions of wealthy leftist parents with deep connections in their chosen profession.
