Never fear . . . the Dem Party apparently has got an unending supply . . . especially among their leadership, their elites, and their college-aged . . . emotional children.

Politically and ideologically speaking? Mostly, yes.

Compared to Dems . . . Republicans are the poster children for liking Israelis and Jews just fine. Conservatives are NOT cheering on the HAMAS terrorists and bad-mouthing Israel for its current activities and nor are Republicans tearing down Israeli hostage posters nor attacking Jews on college campuses for BEING . . . Jews. Everyone doing that . . . votes Dem.

It's true that Republicans don't adore Islamic Terrorists . . . and so that's one difference between them and leftists. Also Republicans aren't real eager to eventually supplant the Constitution and Rule of Law with Sharia Law . . . apparently unlike most leftists.

And I wrote about what problems Republicans DO have with Islam . . . everything else is in leftist imagination.

I did not specify what bothered me about him. If you thought it was the possibility of him being Islamic . . . then you were wrong.

I was not referring to any Islamic background . . . as he did NOT identify himself as Islamic to me. I was referring to something else.

I gotcha.

Europeans (which i lump britain into) were far from home.

They were required to change tactics.

Instead of wave after wave of troops they went Ned Flanders on the natives, eventually inviting them over and offering them a blanket, if you're picking up what I'm laying down.

The indigenous people in the entire world have been taken over for centuries, their people and resources either enslaved and stolen (some by Clinton types for sex trafficking) or marginalized as unimportant for the time being.

The only potato I ever heard about interfering in world events is the current US president. ( I don't know where the euphemism comes from I only know it exists).

I know, i know...my comment was facetiousness bordering on sarcasm.

There is a "kind" that resorts to dealing out all of the identity cards in the deck when they feel that their argument has gotten weak.

Fragile ego + victimhood =leftist/liberal

Yep. But sometimes even arguing with the intelligent ones is both fruitless and frustrating. I was going back and forth with one such yesterday in a historical 'discussion' as to whether or not England and Europe would have eventually taken North and South America without any cooperation at all from the native populations.

I had my reasons why the answer was 'yes, eventually it would have happened anyway' and the leftist's reason why it would never have happened in a thousand years was based on the Irish potato. At that point I just walked away.

Yeah it is an accepted theory that the advent of the potato changed much . . . but it simply wasn't enough of a change to shut down the avalanche of other changes and technological, industrial, military, and mutual competition 'advancements' of those aggressive nations for a thousand years into the future.

The thing about even these educated leftists is that they never EVER contemplate anything other than what was rammed between their ears in college by academicians whom -- almost universally -- never stepped foot in the real world. They take theories as facts because it beats investing their time in . . . thinking outside the box. Sometimes I think that why and how they become leftists in the first place.

Always the "identity card".

You do not agree with me so it MUST be due to my race, religion, or sexual preference!

πŸ˜„ I never took you for a raging bigot.
5 ups, 8mo
Yeah, I don't care about the random flow of genetics and so forth and so on. I don't care about religious affiliations or the bigotry and racist stuff that leftists clutch to themselves because it gives them hate-boners or political advantages. I care about the quality of character and its specifics such as ethics, honor, and stuff that they dismiss as irrelevant.

The fellow I was arguing with in that other thread was an unthinking hater and he was clutching his ideological talking points to his chest as if they were truth incarnate and bullet proof in regards to facts and reality.

That was the 'one of those' I was talking about; a resolutely closed mind with absolutely nothing of noticeable substance rattling around inside of it. One might as well have a discussion with a brick wall.
6 ups, 8mo
Oddly enough, he did not identify himself as an Islamic poster to me; and therefore what you perceived to be a religious prejudice was in your own mind.

I think Republicans want some morals and ethics to the law, with the ability to "mind your own business" mixed in.

Democrats, on the other hand, want their attention seeking "business" known to all and their morals and ethical standards (0+0=0) to be pressed upon everyone.

But I gotta know - what is "christian sharia law"?

Bible does not say "no gay marriage", bible does not mention the word "abortion", the bible doesn't advocate the worship of multiple gods.

Where do you get your information?

Thank you for clarifying what i just said by paraphrasing and restating what I just said.

Mostly it is a matter of practicality. Most Islamic nations are semi-treacherous where the United States and the West in general is concerned. But then again, history shows that the United States and most of the West in general is semi-treacherous where Islamic nations are concerned. Those are the facts. Israel is pretty much aligned with Western and U.S. values and is a staunch ally . . . so far. That may very well change in the future. Who knows?
