Unfortunately no. Protests are a basic human right. In New South Wales, people could be fined up to $22,000 and/or jailed for a maximum of two years for protesting illegally on public roads, rail lines, tunnels, bridges and industrial estates.
In South Australia, its even worse, where maximum fines for illegal protests have increased from $750 to $50,000 along with potential jail time.
