No, the R word isn't a slur. The r word is used to describe someone who generally has such a low iq that they cannot perform normal human functions. The R word is claimed to be a slur, however those who do in fact claim that its a slur are people who fake disabilities (yes these people do exist and they fake disorders like autism or tourretes or DID). At most, the R word is an insult. The r word is considered a slur as the disability fakers want to protect themselves from being "offended." In fact, there are some people claiming that "stupid" is a slur now. I have autism and i don't give a flying f**k if someone calls me the r word because i dont victimize myself. I may talk about disorder faking in another post but not in this one, since it would become way too long.
