Not blowing up your own hospital would be a good start

I agree that people would have to take violent solutions off the table. What has violence got them? A united "Israel-Palestinian Alliance," would give Israel access to the labor its economy needs, many Palestinians a purpose, and a forum to work out daily differences and exploiting common interests.

It’s got them lost territory and the distrust of sane, reasonable, and intelligent people.

You are hallucinating, Larry.

Jesus Christ, Larry.
Everyone with a functioning brain knows that the Palestinians only want the Final Solution.
They tell us this every chance they get.
Why don’t you take them at their own damn words.
See , Larry, this is why no one believes or trusts a damn thing that you post.

Hamas rose to power in 2007 after years of murdering fellow Palestinian members of the ruling Fatah Party. Not all Palestinians agree with Hamas' goals and methods. Almost none of the people who identify as Palestinian, lived in a world where Israel did not exist and have some influence in their lives. More than half of them were born after the Palestinian Authority was given full recognition. Decades later they are unemployed or underemployed, underfed and undervalued. Because of hi-tech communications they are aware that almost everyone in Israel is better off than they are. Given a vote I think the vast majority of them would choose unification over "the Final Solution."

“Identify as Palestinian”???
Gee, Larry, how “woke” can you possibly be?
They are underemployed, unemployed, underfed, and undervalued because of THEIR recalcitrant attitudes and actions. They had years and years before Israeli statehood to make something out of the area referred to as “Palestine” and themselves.
They chose not to.
Within a few short years after Israel’s statehood, deserts bloomed and Israel one again was the land of milk and honey.

“ Given a vote I think the vast majority of them would choose unification over "the Final Solution."

But, they haven’t, Larry, now have they. They ALL seem to take to the streets and celebrate each and every Israeli death give loud and vocal support of Hamas.

Almost none of them were born in Palestine. So they are technically "Gazans." Just as the ancestors of slaves in the US may call themselves "African-Americans." centuries after their forefathers were brought here by our forefathers, Gazans do "identify," as Palestinian. I remember when Trump lied about "Muslims dancing in the streets of New Jersey after 9-11."
According to an analysis by the think tank "The Washington Institute for Near-East Policy:

Brief Analysis
Recent Washington Institute polls have tracked Gazans’ views on Hamas and the ceasefire with Israel, along with a wider regional decline in popularity for Hamas and Hezbollah.

According to the latest Washington Institute polling, conducted in July 2023, Hamas’s decision to break the ceasefire was not a popular move. While the majority of Gazans (65%) did think it likely that there would be “a large military conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza” this year, a similar percentage (62%) supported Hamas maintaining a ceasefire with Israel. Moreover, half (50%) agreed with the following proposal: “Hamas should stop calling for Israel’s destruction, and instead accept a permanent two-state solution based on the 1967 borders.”

Outside of Iran, Hamas is fairly unpopular in their region.

WTF difference does any of that have to with anything? No matter where they were born, it does not give them the right to murder, rape, torture, and/or ransom the lives of Israeli people.
And technically, the Palestinians are Israelis also. They choose to set themselves apart.

Meshugana , right?

I think you may have misunderstood me. I differentiate between "Hamas," and run of the mill Palestinians.

I understand you completely, Larry.
Hamas is comprised of run of the mill Palestinians. Funded by Iran and Biden. And probably by the UN, too boot.
Remember, todays Hamas is staffed by yesterdays “innocent civilian” child…taught to hate Jews and Israel 🇮🇱 by their equally civilian mothers. At around 8 or 9 years of age, the boys are turned over to their fathers, who teach them how to throw stones and Molotov cocktails at IDF soldiers. By the time they are in their late teens and early twenties, they have been taught how to kill Jews, civilians and soldiers, in a variety of ways.

I have zero sympathy for them. All they have to do is stop attacking and killing Jews. It’s really that simple. The Jews are NOT giving up THEIR land.
Ever.

Everything is not a "black and white," as you assert. Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, are not part of the PLO and oppose its close relationship with the Palestinian Authority, which works with Israeli officials to maintain security in the West Bank. Hamas has waged war on Fatah and other Palestinian groups and is not universally supported in Gaza. A unified approach benefits the two local organizations, Israel and the Palestinian Authority could be the way to go. An objective analysis of the activities of the past two decades (at least) show that a unified approach is probably the only chance of putting these constant skirmishes to a rest. Equal and fair treatment and access to rights guaranteed by a central government is the best answer. A blended economy would probably be good for most, also.

Yes, it pretty much is black and white, or, wrong and right.

'Final solution'

Who once said something along the lines of, "We learned from the Germans, we learned the Blitzkrieg"?
0 ups, 1y
FUN fact - Palestinians have ALWAYS rejected that Larry...

Yet here we are at week three and missiles are still flying out of Gaza aimed at Israel 🇮🇱 and its civilians.
You’re right! The Palestinians are not oppressed.
