Now, as you can see, this poor toaster is about to self-destruct because it got asked 0÷0. In reality, it shouldn't have, because it wouldn't result in "undefined." Instead, it's 0. Something like 1÷0 would have the proto blown up. But why is that?
As division is basically multiplication in reverse, to say that 1÷0=0, we have to assume that 0×0=1. However, with 0÷0=0, we get an actually logical answer, 0×0=0.
