The "saviors" of the Jews didn't do them any favors putting them smack dab in the middle of their most fervent adversaries.

Was this done on purpose?

Did they want the Arabs to finish the job that the concentration camps didn't while giving themselves the appearance of clean hands?

You do realize that Israel is the Jews ancestral land, don’t you?
The Jews wanted to emigrate back to their ancestral land.
The real question should be is why doesn’t Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, or Saudi Arabia take the Palestinians into one those countries?
The answer is quite simple…
a) they really don’t like them. I have heard other Arabs describe the Palestinians as “dogs”.
and
b) as long as the Palestinians remain in Israel they can and do use the Palestinians as proxies in their desires to see the Jews driven out of the Mid East.

I am aware the region's meaning to the Jewish people.

I am aware that the other Arab nations do not want their region's "Guatemalans" immigrating to their lands.

I am aware Israel is very capable to handle their business.

I am aware that Israel's conflict is not the United States' conflict.

I am not aware of a reason the other middle eastern countries have not driven Israel out themselves during the last 80+ years.

I am not aware of the reason the US has not negotiated a resolution to the Palestinian issue during the last 80+ years.

Why worry about it now?

Let them fight it out.

To the victor go the spoils.

The US has enough problems with it's own 3rd world border crisis.

That will get "hot" within the next 5 years if not gotten a handle on.

I see it as a "mow your own grass before you worry about your neighbors lawn" sorta thing.

Oh, that’s easy…the Palestinians
Do
Not
Want
Peace.
What they want is to kill each and every Jew wherever they may find them and revert Israel back into some fictional land called Palestine.
They have said so much for the past 80+years.
I believe them. I take their vows and charters very seriously.

My reason for supporting the Jews is quite basic.
God.
History has shown that any nation that harms God’s chosen people usually comes to great ruin.
I really don’t want to piss God off.

You won't piss off GOD.

The Palestinians may, perhaps.

Then why not let Israel handle their own business?

Nobody interferes with the US destroying those of which they disapprove.

History shows that people wh have acted aggressively towards Yahweh's Chosen did so with impunity, which is why the Levant has spent millenia being under the yoke of every empire coming through.
Unless you're referring to Jericho? Strike up the band and let's see what the trumpets can do now.

They could have put them in a safer area instead of where they are encircled by those that wish them erased from the planet.

That is all that is meant by my statement.

People who have been living in their own ancestral land should leave it to accomodate Eastern Europeans with an admixture of some people who've been gone for 2000 years or more?

And, no, you've never heard other Arabs decribe them as that.

Locations were considered in places such as Africa and Canada.

Ay, there's the rub - they were not chosen.

Of course canada has a quasi-nazi, dictatorial, light loafed leader and Africa is largely a mess all on it's own, but better for the Jewish people than being the lone liberal in a prison yard of staunch conservatives, so to speak.
