Absolutely! But, when the Feds won’t or can’t do their job of enforcing border security, the State has the moral obligation to act.
Same could be said regarding local law enforcement and local courts. If they don’t do their jobs, then the people will be left no other alternative other than to enforce them themselves. We’re already seeing that on some cities, towns, etc
