Upvoted. What our leftists inherently cannot comprehend is that pure Democracy is mob rule and the tyranny of the majority over the minority. Anytime you put necessary restrictions on pure Democracy in order to correct such injustice you then have a variation of a Republic. Students once were taught this in public schools; but I suppose that doing so took away from grooming indoctrination time and so was dropped from the curriculum.
