Truth. I just recently discovered that there's a definitional distinction between "porn" and "pornography". Unfortunately, the people who need to hear these things act like they've already learned everything they're ever going to know.

One of the definitions of "porn" is an abbreviation of "pornography". That one is the same. Another definition pertains to usages such as "food porn" and "murder porn", and does not inherently involve sexual themes.



Most usages are just shorthand for pornography, but I have been beaten over the head with the second definition, despite it saying "nonsexual themes".
