You go to the store and buy strawberries. They come in a plastic container. You buy a whole chicken to cook; it’s in a plastic bag. Paper towels? Wrapped in plastic. Want some fruit or vegetables? Pick them out and then put them in a plastic bag. Take as many as you want. Deli meats and cheese? You bet! All individually wrapped in a plastic bag.
But, when you get to the register (and in order to save the environment), plastic bags must be purchased to carry out all of the stuff you just bought that is wrapped in plastic.
