I'm not sure if debt forgiveness is lawful - at least until it comes from Congress... But I think you can make a good argument that it makes economic sense.
A better educated population should be an economic driver. But it ALSO should make for less gullible population, as well. I know you don't trust leftist educators - but look at Mark Crispin Miller... They're not ALL bad... Lowering Tuition inflation, and cancelling debts, across the board would help students at Pepperdine and Hillsdale Yale and Stanford - not just UC BERKELEY and Harvard etc..
