Do you have any children? If you do, you should not want them indoctrinated in our schools. It is unconscionable to advance gender identity to innocent little minds that are developing. You should keep your drag queens and 'not family friendly' month-long Pride parades to yourselves and leave our kids alone.

FYI, you are very condescending to say I don't understand 'gender' or 'parts' when my husband & I have two children and five grandchildren. I am assuming you are a young person with no life experience other that a liberal education. liberal leftists are not related to "gender identity." gender identity is literally how you present yourself. i am a physical female who presents myself masculinely. i have a physically female body, but my outer self appears masculine. that doesn't make me a have a p**is and that's not the real idea of gender identity. nobody is being indoctrinated and nobody is being attacked by liberal leftists. anyone who is upset about their kids being told men can wear makeup b/c sexism is wrong and their kids being taught a guy can like a guy b/c that's just how it works probably has an issue. the point of a pride parade is not sex or sin but to convey acceptance. gender is an entirely social construct and is not in any way or form related to politics, sex or anything other than appearance and identity. gender is a mentality of how a person identifies and presents themselves, not a summary of physical sex. i understand many people are understandibly confused with the modern definition of the word, as gender was used the same way as sex for a very long time. however, the current definition of gender is "The state of being male or female as expressed by social or cultural distinctions and differences, rather than biological ones." i am not trying to say that sex is changeable. i'm not saying we should teach children about the physical differences between sexes or that there are many sexes- because there aren't. physically one is female or male. mentally one can be a completely separate identity. i partially agree with you, but the definition of the word has changed dramatically over the last 50 years.
