Net Zero Emissions Fantasy

Net Zero Emissions Fantasy | One thing that will be interesting to see and that is the first country to come out and say that this Net Zero Emissions by 2050, is a FANTASY. The only thing it will do is destroy lives, businesses and jobs as well as increase power and fuel costs! Yarra Man | image tagged in un,global warming, climate | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

spongebob ill have you know | AN ALARMIST ALREADY PROVIDED ME A LIST OF SEVERAL "NET ZERO" COUNTRIES ALL THIRD WORLD | image tagged in spongebob ill have you know | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Big surprise there huh?

The whole net zero catchphrase is a fraud.

You buy "offsets" while you continue yo pollute.

It's to scare you into unquestioning obedience to big brother.gov

Actually, there's only one country that hit his gosl for the COP2022.
And also, the problem isn't directly from the government, but from the BIG industry that pollute the most, which are the current PILLARS of our economy.
The government hands are tied here, because they have the economic power. The last minister of ecology in France said that he can't do anything because they were here.
He quited his position.

So let's stop blaming all on the fancy word of the "government" and let's look at this mess in detail, shall we ?

I blame government for disseminating the terroristic end of the world narrative.

Of course manufacturing and the utility industries are chugging pollutants into the atmosphere and dumping chemical wastes into the water table, streams, rivers, lakes, and oceans.

Then they all conspire to blame the little guy trying to put $4 of gas in his car.

That lil guy is just trying to get to his factory job of keeping the coal burning in in the furnaces and exhausting out of the smoke stacks to put bread on his table (because looting is wrong).

Yeah, you're right about that. Carbon tax should be on big industry, not peoples.
But because they have economic power, they know they can do whatever they want in impunity.

So the government has to find someone else to blame...

Like trick regular fellers into subsidizing their pollution by telling them pollution is going to end life on earth?

Carbon tax is nonsense. But beware, auto insurance companies are gathering mileage data on every insured vehicle in America.

Ha life won't die because of global warming, it lived worse.
What's for sure is that WE will die, or most of us, as the limits of the human body ate getting closer and closer to the edge.

Yeah, we should just keep our money and all die like flies to the heat waves, natural disasters and lack of resources.

But that's none of your business right ?

Climate change is a fact of life. It was here in the Ice Ages and I doubt humans were not part of the causal factors. Destroying all business and raising power prices is not going to fix it. Additionally the biggest polluters like China and India have no interest in it.

"I doubt human were not part of the causal factors".
The amount of proof that indeed proves that human are the problem is astonishing. Nature is slow, but the temperature raise drastically in less that a century.
And yeah, we shouldn't destroy everything, because first it's not possible, and second we just need to reform how we build, transport and produce. WE need to adapt and change because WE are the first impacted.

Also, rising prices and buissness failing are the cause of the inflation and the bad economic gestion of the last century, not some unexistant ecological reform.

What are YOU doing to stop climate change?

Simple but effective daily task like closing the light were you don't need and not heating the house too much (you can just put up another layer of clothes), but I'm also thinking while I'm doing scientific studies (because that's what I'm preparing rn) I should help in the development of nuclear fusion, which would be a way more efficient and eco-friendly way to make energy.

So nothing that will have any immediate effect.

Turning off the light and keeping thermostat down only saves you a little coin.

It does nothing to stop pollution.

That energy plant fumes 24/7 whether you use the electricity or not.

Pollution went slowly but steady. We are gonna get rid of it instantly, it's literally not possible.
Also nuclear plants emit water, not CO2

Yeah, water vapor...and radioactive waste that has to pile up somewhere until the day it decides to leak out and wreak havoc on living things.

Nice time capsule to leave for future generations.

And that's where nuclear FUSION comes in !
Unlike FISSION, nuclear fusion products radioactive waste that last WAY less before turning back into a stable and unharmful state.
That's why I want to develop that science, so people can enjoy the great pleasures of electricity without relying on the central which products CO2 and/or nuclear waste that we can't get rid off.

Btw, carbon centrals produce more radioactive waste per GWh than nuclear centrals, even fission ones

Why isn't the media broadcasting that all day, every day!!!

Fossil fuels produce more radioactive waste than nuclear fission plants!!!

I never knew there are harmless forms of radioactive substances. Less immediately harmful, yes.

Unharmful? No.

Reckon all that's left is to design a contraption that prevents methane in cow farts from escaping bovine butts and junking up the atmosphere.

Oh yeah, after the elimination of all atmospheric CO², what are the trees supposed to eat and replenish our oxygen supply with?

I suppose human beings will still be farting.

Right?

Right?
0 ups, 7mo
Bro we can't just eliminate all CO2 from the atmosphere, duh. Reducing it is really hard and reducing it too much is not recommended.
What we want is to reduce OUR emissions to the point that they no longer becomes a problem, because we are, after all, the first concerned by global warming.

Also media talked alot about fusion reactors went it was firstly concepted and... when China made progress on it...

(Also most plant doesn't absorb methane... as I remember)

Oh yeah no the radioactive substance isn't harmless, but it stays radioactive for a lesser amount of time (like one month max for fusion, when radioactive waste from fission can stay radioactive for billions of years).
