I think we all understand the reason behind this...
Republican
Walk in the Capitol carrying the US flag:
catch an obstruction of government process charge, long pre-trial confinement, years of federal prison time.
Democrat
Pull the fire alarm to obstruct government process:
nothing - it was simply a mistake that could happen to anyone.
Worst case scenario - he did it to obstruct government procedure.
Best case scenario - he pulled the alarm because he's lazy AF and disregarded the safety of others when he pulled the alarm knowing full well activating the emergency system unlocks all doors to allow for evacuation.
YOU DECIDE !
Either way, it was an intentional act performed when no emergency condition existed which makes his action unlawful.
