So this premise depends upon the average Dem Party voter being consistently as dumb as a stump and able to ignore all hard evidence as rumor just because the fanatically leftist loyal Mainstream Media tells them to keep their brains shut down for the good of the Party?

Normally one would consider this an outside chance at best of working; but then again we ARE talking about the mentality of the average Dem Party voter.

If only MAGA had any integrity.

Their integrity is so far gone that they've discovered a new magnitude of the sunk cost cognitive bias. They've gone so far to double down on the lie that they were told, the level of cognitive dissonance that has always run with this movement would cause civil unrest. Literally holding the country hostage, and they know it. They know that they can't back out now. They know to do so would only completely demolish the credibility they no longer have. So they'll be Riding Donald Trump until that ship has sunk to the bottom of the Atlantic.
