How does a virtual nobody have the political clout to crush any investigation into an obviously forged birth certificate?
No, Barky was just likeable enough that he didn't have to be installed as President like the empty headed jackass currently occupying the Oval Office. But he's no puppet master.

As for barry hussein II, I've always thought that someone (George Soros?) won a $1 bet that he could turn a foreign-born druggy homosexual into the president of the United States. Kinda like "Trading Places," but with the destruction of a once-great country thrown in for giggles. That's at least as plausible as any other scenario!
