Certainly one would be tempted to assume so . . . but there was a polling done just the other day wherein a plurality of U.S. citizens now believe that the United States is turning toward authoritarianism in government with the political Left leading the charge toward fascism -- or whatever sort of 'ism' one wants to call the modern movement for systematically restricting rights and freedoms in the name of governmental control -- and yet also . . . still . . . alarmed Democrat citizens are totally determined to keep voting for the same Dem Party politicians struggling to remove their freedoms.
So in other words; no, I don't hold out any meaningful hope that 500,000 'rescued' Venezuelan citizens are any more intelligent and any more capable of learning from direct experience than are ANY of our typical non-thinking but all emoting Dem Party voters.
