Also the government tries to control the market such as setting price limits. Spreading the wealth is a pretense for controling the all the wealth of a country. In Socialism workers would control the means of production. They would also contol gov't, which would almost make you correct in trms of gov't control except Autocracy is quite literally antithetical to Socialism as is the case in Venezuela.
