blue background | my brothers and sisters in Christ, gather round, I have something for you to think about. Why do "Christians" hate LGBTQ? Because they are sinners? Look around, I'm a sinner, you're a sinner, we are ALL sinners. So what makes us any different than the LGBTQ? You might say that they don't know God like we do. Are you going to hate them for that? Absolutely not. God calls us to make disciples, followers of Christ. It is our duty to spread the good news, to spread the love for crying out loud. Now I don't mean, go yell bible verses at people, expecting them to instantly see the light and convert. We need to plant seeds. We need to be gentle. Get to know these people. Jesus spent a lot of his time with sinners, and people who were considered dirty and unclean. Get to know these people. Find out where they are coming from. They are humans just like us, so treat them the same. when you talk to them, don't shout the Word of God at them. Maybe mention His name, one time and leave it at that. "Hey i understand that nobody was there for you during those five years of your life that seemed so bleak and lonley. But God was there." Plant the seed. Love them. As Christians, we are commanded to love one another, without exception. There will always be those hate others, right up to Christ's millennial reign. You made some excellent points but the one thing I would add, with perfect love for all, is that this world is second by second approaching the time of Jesus 2nd coming followed by the wrath of God being poured out upon this world and those remaining. Cataclysms that have never been experienced upon this earth. Fires, earthquakes, plagues, 1/3 of the fish in the ocean gone, and more. No Christian wants to see anyone go through this and we do what we can to tell a world that increasingly scoffs at this prophecy. We can truly only sow seeds and pray that the individual is moved to listen. Our role has always been to love each other. To want what's best for everyone. When you sow the seed remember, as someone once said..they don't care how much you know til they know how much you care.

Because we should love everyone
No matter what they do

We're all sinners, we're all created by God

But this doesn't mean i accept the thought of LGBTQ

Hate the sin
Love the sinner

yeah im a member of the community, but also a Christian and I just feel like too many Christians hate us. We are sinners but Christians are taught to love sinners and I feel like we exclude the community from that. Im lucky enough that my church is like this

In short: Don't SHOVE the truth down someones throat. Help them to get to know God, and if they don't want too, then leave them alone. Because God will come back one day and the truth will be shown to them.
