You take a look at people who spend tens of thousands of dollars on video games and movies and merchandise. For seemingly no reason.

No person in their right mind would spend $10,000 of their own money on that. It's all coming from parents or something else.

while liking videogames is fine, and putting a lot of money (for entertainment) into it is okay too (if you're fine with it), spending that much is highly unnatural
