Why is the state's monopoly of violence legitimized but protesters are scolded for fighting back?

No wonder the political Left wants MOB-RULE 'democracy'. It's because the very concept of a Constitutional and Representative Republic both frustrates and puzzles them.

Your distorted concepts of democracy are a farce. They don’t foster freedom or equality, they tow the line of the establishment and ruling classes, regardless of what principles and values they promulgated to be voted in to begin with. What an utterly stupid idea to send representatives to make all our decisions to be made unaccountable instead of having a direct democratic process where everyone has a say and the community decides and plans according to shared interests.

It is so funny to get leftists to finally reveal their true 'thought' processes regarding their Socialistic or Marxist or -- nowadays -- fascist ruling government fantasies. Democracy is mob rule in which the majority controls the minority period . . . which is why it is also another name for tyranny among people that have actually studied both history and the nature of governments.

When you begin putting restrictions on the concept of the majority RULING the minority then you no longer have Democracy . . . or mob rule; and instead you begin moving toward the idea of a Republic in their various formations.

You’ve obviously not read a lick of anarchist theory a day in your life… anarchistic democracy is not “mob rule” and if you opened up a book you’d know how dumb that sounds.

Anarchy in any of its forms is a fantasy self-indulgence by people inherently incapable of comprehending the inherent but necessary limitation of government and rule of law and WHY things are as they are in the face of inevitable and dangerous internal and external threats.

Liberal democracy is a fantasy. Any dreams of limiting power are fantasy and do not correspond with reality. Originally liberals wanted government to never reach beyond safeguarding the rights of the people, and look at where we are now. Liberals thought we should be able to alter or abolish governmental institutions when they stop serving our ends, yet they now cling to these institutions superstitiously like they can’t be altered, and like there is no other way.
Human history tells us we don’t need external compulsion in order to have functioning civilization. Nation-states are a recent invention in the course of human existence and have only served to make matters worse, instill worse suffering, trauma and pain upon formerly free peoples who used to have a solidaric bond and solve matters themselves. Exploitation of people over others cannot be abolished without abolishing the state.
