Total distortion of the truth

You mean you weren't taught that in public school? Odd. I attended public school during the 1960s and we were definitely taught all of the above. But then again under leftist control most public schooling long ago deep-sixed genuine education for ideological indoctrination. That probably explains it.

The problem with this statement is that the American Indians who were "here first" - never bothered to Govern their own people. Their entirety of "civilization" was a never ending conflict between any and all other tribes in what is now the US part of North America.

We did indeed have much war/conflict with the Native Americans. That's how the world worked wayyyyyyyy back then. Luckily for us - eventually native Americans and leaders of what would become the United States eventually came to agreements and now we have Native American Casinos and Duty Free shops.

Yes - it's a part of our history and it sucks... but it doesn't mean there's a big bad curse coming to get us for stuff people did 300-400 years ago.
