get used to the special Characters if you ever wanna work as a programmer
as a guy who spends at least 4 hours a day to game development, I can assure you I have to use them a lot.
they are extremely useful and make your life easier.

Yeah nvm it wasn't the special characters that bothered me
(they used to bother me A LOT but now not thatmuch)
It was the fact that I didn't know how to express what I wanted with code

So I'll have to learn new concepts (nooooooooooooooooooooo *dies inside*)

more new concepts == more bugs you have to learn how to solve

There is a high demand for Developers in every industry and you will be paid extremely well if you find the right employers!
and it looks even better if you learn more coding languages than just your average Python or Java or C++

it's such an amazing hobby/job/skill like-
Developers and Programmers are the future of modern society and it's a shame not as many people know how to do it
it's truly like speaking another language!!

Trust me I know it's hard at first but eventually, it becomes just like riding a bike. takes time, and a bit of skill, but not so much skill that it's impossible
and with that skill you can go far places

actually, while scratch teaches you the fundamentals, it would not have made it any easier- I actually will recommend anything but scratch to people who wanna learn how to code
Scratch will only teach you the bare minimum and is nothing like the real deal.
