Yes, Barry who was convicted of cocaine possession, got 6 months jail and a $5000 fine, but scored a role in the Council of the District of Columbia after his release (1992), and later (1994) elected Mayor, served 1995-1999. Seems the Democrats like a criminal in office, so Dixon's probably a safe bet for Baltimore Mayor.
