Nah, thats only good for 1 cobblestone, then the water turns the lava to obsidian (water is faster than lava)

You clearly don’t know how to make a infinite cobblestone generator

You need the water to go until only the last bit of water from the source, then the lava goes for 2 blocks until they meet, then, you'll have infinite
