Well howdy there, Trump-cult kids, it's Socialism again and today we're going to look at the numbers.

Well howdy there, Trump-cult kids, it's Socialism again and today we're going to look at the numbers. | The other day I happened to overhear a Trump-humper crowing about how 68% of republicans say they intend to vote for Dear Leader no matter what -which immediately piqued my curiosity as to how that might impact the 2024 election; Let's see... as of Oct. '22, among states which furnished voter data broken down by party, republican voters weigh in at 36.4 million, democrats at 48 million, independents/unaffiliated at 35.3 million, and 4 million voters identifying as Other/margin parties. Sooo... 36.4 x .68 = only 24.752 million republican votes currently guaranteed going to Trump out of an anticipated 123.8 million total votes in '24. Now... it can be reasonably assumed that democrat voters will line up behind whoever is the DNC favorite in the primary -in other words, you're essentially looking at a 2:1 vote ratio in the democrats favor right out of the gate; Factor in that only 47% of recently surveyed independent voters said they would vote for Trump and that adds up to 42.4 million votes for Trump. Yup... still 5.6 million votes away from a close race; And that's before including indies for the DNC candidate, an assumed 50/50 split among the Other/margin parties or accounting for peel-off among polled Trump supporters declaring they'll not to vote for Trump if he's a convicted felon | image tagged in scarecrow in field, voters, trump sucks | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
