lemme just go off real quick. i'm getting really f**king tired of everybody saying they're depressed. i asked google which gender has more mental health issues, and it said women. i personally think that's a load of bullshit. i also googled which gender has a higher suicide rate, and it was men. why is the suicide rate higher for men, but the depression rate higher for women? answer, because half the women who "claim" to have depression just want attention. as a girl, i'm disappointed and embarrassed that men's mental health doesn't get enough attention. thank you for your time.

I agree with you, even though sometimes people claim to have depression just want attention, they give people the wrong idea and then they don't believe the people that actually have depression and need help for it, I genuinely wish people would use their talents to get attention instead of pretending they're mentally ill, everyone has issues but if you fake them, it just makes you worse of a person, anyone can have depression and all cases are important and need to be cared for.

I hate it when people fake depression (or any mental illness) because they think it's trendy or it gets them attention. It casts a shadow over people like me who actually need help, but can't because the doctors and therapists are too busy dealing with someone's fake depression. It should be a reason to report on social media, to try and stop people like this and ensure that people with actual problems get the help they need.
